BLACKPOOL TRANSPORT 410 ON BANK HEY STREET
Blackpool is the largest town in Lancashire. For a town of its size, it doesn't have many bus services, however most bus routes in the town do run at a frequency of 10 - 30 minutes. Buses haven't used the town's 1960s bus station since 2002, with most services using bus stops on Market Street and Corporation Street in the town centre. Longer distance coach services use the Blackpool Central Coach Station, which has a booking office.
Blackpool Transport, owned by Blackpool Borough Council, operate the majoity of local bus services in and around Blackpool, with Coastliner also running a couple of town services. Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire operate country bus services to and from Blackpool, from their depots in Preston and Morecambe. Coastal Coaches also operate an hourly service to St Annes.
Longer-distance coach services operate on National Express services to Birmingham and Leeds, operated on behalf of National Express by Selwyns, Stotts Coaches, East Yorkshire Motor Services and National Express West Midlands' Walsall depot. JH Coaches also operate a coach service to Leeds on certain days only.
